Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
We want to find better ways to support people suffering with mental health challenges, and we believe we’re onto something important.
Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a mental health condition resulting from trauma – events that are very stressful or frightening. Symptoms include nightmares, flashbacks, difficulty sleeping and concentrating, and feelings of isolation, irritability, and guilt.1
Over 300 million people will experience PTSD at some point in their lives, yet only 20-30% of patients treated with currently approved interventions will make a full recovery.
